Today was frustrating to say the least. To star the day I woke up at 2 a.m. Then when I got to work I found out I had to stow which I have almost a phobic response to since I have a ton of write ups in that area. If that was not enough my shoulder started hurting so I went to the on site med station and iced my shoulder. It did not help so I used FMLA and left early. Since it was hurting me I ended up going to Urgent care to have it looked at. Turns out I have rotator cuff tendinitis. Not what I need right now. Peak is here and I only have 30 hours left. Will do the best I can.

It has been another day. Some anxiety and close to tears but I kept it at bay and was able to function normally. In Sunday School the lesson was on making decisions. It went OK. It was not one of my better lesson but it went ok. My favorite part was J. asking about the burning in the bosom and how other class members stepped up to answer the question. Did get a visit from our home teacher Brother B. Lisa was also visited by her Visiting Teacher Sister R. I am now trying to relax and let the day take care of itself.

Pain
Pain is the topic tonight. It is something we all get now and again. My current pain I am dealing with is in my left shoulder as well as the bottom of my feet. I treat it through oils and lotions as well as Ice/Heating pads. When these fail to yield results I get into my pain medicine but I try not to use that to often.
The challenge with pain is it also effects my mood. It is teaching me endurance though since I have to work with it hoping I make it through the day, I do make it but it getting out of the car when I get home is a challenge.

It has been a while since I have posted. It is not that nothing happens in my life I am just not always sure how to out it to words. My over all life is simple. I work. I attend Church, as well as teach Sunday School. I have days off that allow me some measure of relaxing, unless there is a doctor's visit involved.
It has been a rather challenging bit of time. I have had a lot of medical issues this year which have made me unable to get up North to see family I have not seen in decades or even seen period. 2 hospital stays, 4 emergency room visits and one regular doc and three specialist I see has not helped my mood. I might even have to add a 4th if I keep up the way I am going.
I must say I am loving the challenge of teaching Sunday School. I teach the 14-17 year old youth. I see in them growing knowledge and testimonies as well as challenges they face that I never did. Friends coming out as gay is a challenge they face. I know I never really faced that issue. There are some things though that are universal that even in my youth are the same then as today. Drugs, drinking sex and trying to fit in when your standards are different than the worlds. I am grateful that I have learned to love these kids. I will say when I started as a teacher it was not easy. I had three boys who challenged me. I now have a larger class that I share with Sister S, The kids are a delight to be with and I have tried to take the time to get to know each of them individually. That is just a little catch up I will try to post a little bit better down the road.
Cool Runnings to all.

Weight Loss
I know I have not entered anything in a little while but might as well put a little something in. I was down to 207 this morning. The workouts and change in eating habits are helping. At the beginning of July I was about 225 So I am a happy boy. 8 more and I can be under 20. I want to get to 160 again and maintain instead of gaining again.

Latest News
Lisa and I have been living in our condo now for more then a month and it has been nice to come home to. Have settled in to a routine here that seems to help.
Lisa has a schedule I do not like because right now we only have Sunday together so can't really do a whole lot. Monday and Tuesday she works from 11 to 3 which cuts into the day. We try to do something int he afternoon but just not enough time to really do much together.
I am liking my days a little better. Sometimes it is hard when Managers are all over the place breathing down your neck. At night the Managers pretty much left you alone to do your job.
Lisa and I are settling into our new ward. We have not received callings yet but I am sure they are right around the corner. Lisa has been assigned a visiting teaching companion. It is Bishop Giles wife. That is good hopefully she will be a good companion for Lisa. I also hope Lisa has good visiting teachers Like Sister Mooney and Sister Hicks. They faithfully visited her every month.
As for me I am still waiting my assignment as a home teaching companion to someone. I will not get my hopes up when it comes to having home teachers though. The track Record is not great. I did have one the final 5 months before I left the old ward but before that I saw them maybe once and that was usually it unless they counted saying hi to me at church as their home teaching.
That is the latest news. Not sure if anyone even reads this anymore if they do yea if not whatever.

New Schedule
Today was a fist full day staying up all day. Yesterday I ended up taking a little bit of a nap in the evening. Today I stayed up in case Lisa was able to get out of her Jury selection early. She was able to get out at 11:30 am. Walking over to get her felt good because even though it was only in the forty's with a little but of a cool breeze the sun felt good shining on me.
I guess that is why about 4:30 I went for a walk. There is something therapeutic about walking in the sun. It does much to improve my mood..
